Warning...

Kiteboarding can be an extremely dangerous sport, especially on the inland lakes like Lake Mendota and Lake Menona, where the shoreline is peppered with obstacles or any of the Great Lakes that can serve up 10 foot waves with the wind blowing 30-40 mph. We experience a wide range of conditions that make our riding experiences challenging to say the least.

Any kite can become a dangerous weapon if something goes wrong. A bad experience could easily result in damage to your gear, yourself, or others unless you have had the proper training and instruction.

Appropriate training is essential for the beginner kiteboarder!

At Kite Riders, it's our goal to help new and existing students understand their responsibility with regards to safe practices and safe riding.

Our right to kiteboard at any public beach could easily be revoked if we do not kite responsibly.
